Good News Story
August 2010
Following the theme of the month, ‘silence and stillness to give time for awareness’, I wanted to put messages about three main needs in life if we are to feel good ~ ‘Love, Light (understanding) and Laughter’.
Beginning with the Light, the following two messages from two participants were received after attending a workshop on “Where did my soul begin?” This is a one-day workshop which can be linked to two other workshop days connected to the journey of a soul. Both participants asked me to share their comments with you.
“I have so far attended the “soul day one” and now want to do the other two. It was a wonderful day in so many ways. When I left I had deepened my knowing of myself which also gave me tools to live my life and do my purpose in an even more wonderful and meaningful way." - Anna, Skone, Sweden
“I would like to share something from the Soul-journey-day I visited. It was the first of the days, where we went back to our souls previous existence. The whole day was like a "wow-experience". I got a better and stronger feeling of who I really am and part of what my purpose is, this time around. I also got help to understand many other things about myself. Things that affected me now, but had its origin before coming into this body. For example, I have always had a very unpleasant feeling in my throat and stomach every time I got scared or nervous. Pauline helped me remember a life a long time ago when I fell and hurt myself badly in an avalanche or landslide, and survived for several days, alone and trapped, before I died. The sensation of falling has followed me all through this life, whenever I got scared or nervous! But like a miracle, this feeling has disappeared after the workshop. That´s my story, and I have only been on one Soul-day...so far. – Regine, Varmland, Sweden
The title of the second workshop is “ Bridging the higher intuitive self with the practical reality of living” which takes the journey of the soul from the point of entering the physical body through when you are born until the present day. The workshop is being held in both UK and Sweden before the end of the year. See Calendar of Events
Two to make you smile, however the last one is actually shared with Love, as well as Laughter.
Recently during a Sunday school period, the teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to "Honour your Father and your Mother," she asked, "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?" Immediately, one little boy who was the oldest child, answered, "Thou shall not kill."
During a local sport practice a mobile rang – this was allowed because the lady had left her (not young) autistic son at home. “Mother we have a troll in the house” was his message. Naturally the mother’s reply was “Yes dear!” and she switched off to continue practising. The phone rang very quickly once more with the same message. Her response was the same. However, after many times in which the phone continued to ring with this message the lady in question decided she needed to go and investigate. On arriving home her son said “I have put the troll in the cupboard under the stairs”. Hearing a banging from the cupboard, the mother opened the door to discover there was indeed someone under the stairs. He was unfortunately a man of very short height and could with his weather beaten face look to a young man with a disability, to be how he (the young man) perceived a troll to be – having never met a troll. The love and support the mother got from this unfortunate incident was enormous but it was also very difficult for those supporting them to contain their mirth.
The last story was love as well as laughter, however this tale is connected to Love, and came from someone with whom I was having a conversation about how ‘Universal Love’, as opposed to ‘Humanitarian Emotional Love’ allows us to step back and see the bigger picture, and then from the stillness and silence within we can say or act in a more embracing way. We were in a space where we could be still and silent, when this person said “That has made me understand what ‘Riding the roller coaster of life in peaceful, harmonious oneness’ means.” Sometimes we have heard the answer but needed another little bit of information to understand it fully. Going into the silence and allowing the answer to bubble up from inside you is a good thing to do.
