Welcome to the International School of Awareness

Welcome

‘May Day’: two words that show the meaning of the cosmic Law of Paradox.  On the one hand we think of a time for being festive, for enjoying a bank holiday given as a celebration, and for feeling the lifting of our spirits and an increase of energy as we contemplate spring in the Northern Hemisphere.  Even in the Southern Hemisphere with its cooling temperatures, ‘May Day’ is an indication that there will soon be a period where you can rest and relax because of the change in the season.   In the Northern Hemisphere, however, we look forward to more warmth and experience get a sense of good things about to happen.

The absolute opposite of that is the ‘May Day’ call when a ship or aircraft is in trouble.  The use of those two words brings either joyful anticipation, or, a feeling of alarm.  The Law of Paradox is just that.   We may look and follow the idea that the glass is half full, or we can follow the idea that the glass is half empty.  The first gives us a boost and the confidence to continue, no matter what the reality of the material world around is making us deal with; whilst the second idea creates in us a feeling of heaviness when our thoughts go along the lines of “What is the use? Why bother?” and our will to continue gets smaller.

If you want to know how to maintain the feeling of joyful anticipation whilst living in the real world of rules, duty and responsibility, look at what is on offer by the International School of Awareness, and see if there are any, teachers, courses or workshops, which feel right for you.   Each one is based on the essence of truth (the seventh sense) and is connected to the aim of bringing peace to our planet.   If you are unsure of what your part in this bigger picture is, just contact someone and ask.

Look at the teacher’s page and the calendar of events to see if there is anything that appeals to you. Alternatively, come to one of the two exhibitions which the International School of Awareness is hosting this year, the first is 5th May in Sweden and the second is 28th October in England.

May you find a way to enjoy what is happening around you, as it will almost certainly hold deeper meanings than the practical and obvious actions that are calling for your attention.   It is a truth that (given time), out of anything which may not feel good, there is a huge potential for harmonious balanced growth.
